The original is exhibited in the Palatine Gallery of Palazzo Pitti, Florence.<\/p>\n<p>The work is one of the most well-known and reproduced of the whole art history and depicts the Madonna with Child and Saint John. The composition follows the circularity of the table through the inclination of the Virgin&#8217;s head, the curvilinear movement of the arm and the overlap of the feet of the Child.<\/p>\n<p>Raffaello&#8217;s work strikes for its simplicity: the Virgin is depicted intimately, daily.
