On October 10th, a chapel dedicated to Blessed Pope John XXIII was inaugurated in the church of Traversara. For the occasion, a ceramic painting made by Laura Silvagni was uncovered.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It is a hand painted portrait of the Pope on majolica, fired at high temperature. <\/strong>The tile measures 40x40cm, and represents the Pope smiling to the faithful. A valuable frame completes the work of art.<\/p>\n

In our area, it is surely one of the first places of worship dedicated to Pope John XXIII, who was beatified by Pope John Paul II.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
