Buongiorno Ceramica! returns to Faenza on 18 and 19 May, the festival of Italian ceramics organized by AiCC – Italian Association of Ceramic Cities, now in its 10th edition.
On Saturday 18th we will be open at our usual times (9-13 and 15-19) and on Sunday we will participate in the scheduled collective events: the Ceramist’s Breakfast and the Ceramist’s Aperitif.

Saturday 18th: Ceramics Olympics
A moment of play born from an idea by ceramist Andrea Kotliarsky, the Ceramics Olympics will challenge adults and children to try their hand at games with clay. The event will take place from 5pm to 7pm in Via Ragazzini on the occasion of the “Tutti Insieme. A day to thank those who helped”, one year after the floods of May 2023.
Participation is free, booking is not necessary.
Saturday 18: Slow Art Souls – The places where Love must escape
At the Art Deposit spaces, in Via Nuova 31 in Faenza, there will be a solo show by Paolo Vegas who interprets, with his iconic works, poems by the Marche poet Emanuele Paolombari. The exhibition will remain accessible until June 8, 2024.
Sunday 19th: Ceramist’s Breakfast
Sunday 19 May, starting from 9.30 am, meet in the Loggia of the Salone delle Bandiere (Municipal Residence) to drink a coffee offered by Mokador with ceramic cups made by the Faenza ceramists; all accompanied by the String Ensemble of the G. Sarti School of Music of Faenza.
Cup and breakfast: 10.00 Euros.
Sunday 19th: Aperitif at the Ceramist
The now traditional event of the Ceramist’s Aperitif returns on Sunday 19 May: from 5.30 pm in the garden of Palazzo Zauli-Naldi it will be possible to purchase ceramic glasses made by the Faenza ceramicists together with a glass of wine from the winemakers of Terre di Oriolo, at the total price of €15.00.
A moment of meeting, accompanied by music and good company, to toast together to the restart one year after the flood events of May 2023.
